We have bee yards ranging from metro Atlanta to Athens, across the Georgia Piedmont. Our bees forage in some of Georgia’s most beautiful country, producing not only wonderful local honey but also exceptional wax. Our wax is harvested during the honey extraction process. We use only newest, pure cappings wax. This wax is melted and filtered through muslin using solar wax melters, resulting in beautiful blocks of Award Winning wax. From that beeswax we create attractive, pure wax candles.
Natural beeswax retains the fragrance of the bee hive. It is biologically expensive for bees to produce and is therefore harvested sparingly. Candles made of pure beeswax burn brighter, longer, and cleaner than those made from the synthetic compound, paraffin. They radiate the same light spectrum as the sun and the flame produces negative ions that are known to clean the air and invigorate the body.
Our candles are made from pure beeswax. In spring and summer we harvest our wax and slowly purify it using solar wax melters. We then mold this wax into tapers and other specialty molds. We also produce rolled candles from strips of pressed and die cut pure beeswax. These rolled beeswax candles may be packaged and uniquely custom labeled for corporate branding or wedding favors.
